Marion Cotillard to play Lady Macbeth in new movie

Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard is attached to play Lady Macbeth in a movie adaptation of Shakespeare's famous play.
Michael Fassbender is playing the iconic antihero, reported Deadline.
Natalie Portman was earlier supposed to play the role but she exited the movie.
"King's Speech" producers Iain Canning and Emile Sherman are producing the film.
Pre-production is slated for the end of the year with principal photography to kick off in the UK in January 2014.
