The India Design Week 2017 gives an opportunity for budding designers to learn, explore, innovate and design products in areas including environment, disaster relief, energy, food and well being, ICT Academy said in a release.
Students of mechanical, aeronautical, automobile and mechatronics engineering departments of colleges from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry can enroll in the programme, scheduled to be held here on December 11 and 12.
Nearly 1,000 students from 30 colleges are expected to take part in the event.
"We believe this design event will not only help the students to acquire new skills and insights but also inspire them towards creating a better future", he said.
ICT Academy is a not-for-profit organisation launched by Centre in collaboration with State government and industries, the release added.
