IDFC Apr-June net down 13 per cent at Rs 449 crore

IDFC Ltd has reported a fall of 12.7 per cent in its standalone net profit at Rs 449.07 crore in the first quarter ended June 2014.
Its net profit was at Rs 514.54 crore over in the corresponding April-June quarter in the previous fiscal.
"Total income has decreased from Rs 2,138.53 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 to Rs 2,039.17 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014," it said in a filing to BSE.
On consolidated basis, IDFC group has reported net profit of Rs 481.74 crore during April-June 2014-15, down from Rs 557.31 crore a year ago.

Total income also decreased from Rs 2,298.57 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 to Rs 2,189.15 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014.
