The stall depicts the dare-devil battle of CRPF men at 'Sardar Post' during the 1965 war, the glowing story of sacrifice at Hot Springs area in Ladakh and the more recent acts of brave action made by the force when terrorists stormed the temple complex in Ayodhya and Parliament House.
"The entire history of the Central Reserve Police Force can be seen through this window created in the IITF, 2015," a force spokesperson said.
The inauguration of the stall, at the Phulwari convention centre, was done by 'Shaurya Chakra' awardee and famed blade-runner of the force Deputy Commandant R K Singh in the presence of CRPF chief Prakash Mishra and other senior officials.
Mishra has started a new initiative in the about 3-lakh personnel force where gallant and distinguished officials are made to do ceremonial honours instead of VIPs and other seniors.
