On a tip-off, Masuri town police raided an abandoned place around 4.30 AM and unearthed the illegally-operated factory, senior superintendent of police Deepak Kumar said.
Police seized three finished pistols of .32 and .315 bore besidesfive live cartridges, eight barrels and other manufacturing equipment in the raid, the SSP said.
One man identified as Mohammad Naeem, native of Dhaulana in Hapur district, was arrested during the raid and later sent to jail under Arms Act, he added.
