India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a warning that heat wave conditions were likely to prevail at some places in north Telangana tomorrow.
Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar both recorded maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius, followed by Ramagundam (43.4) and Medak (43.2).
Mercury soared to 42.4 degrees Celsius in Hyderabad.
"The maximum temperature is likely to be above normal by 2 to 4 degrees and above 42 degrees Celsius at isolated places in the north Telangana and above 40 degrees Celsius at many places tomorrow," IMD website said.
