"2015 is the year of election, so start preparing for the polls," Khan told his supporters at a public rally last night in the central town of Sargodha.
This is not for the time Khan has declared that he expects the polls to be held earlier. Earlier on several occasions he has called for snap polls.
The cricketer-turned politician had announced several deadlines for the fall of the Nawaz Sharif-led government and new polls when he launched his campaign on August 14 to dislodge Sharif.
Khan is also on a protest with his supporters in the heart of capital Islamabad, where he addresses his workers everyday.
His close aide and former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Khan will undertake country-wide rallies within two months before announcing his next move.
He has announced a gathering in Larkana in southern Sindh province which is stronghold of Pakistan People's Party of slain former two-time premier Benazir Bhutto.
Some of Khan's associates are believed to be pressing him to step up pressure on the Pakistan government.
