India reach finals of men's and women's volleyball

India reached the finals of the men's and women's volleyball competiions, thereby ensuring two more medals for the hosts at the 12th South Asian Games, here today.
In the men's section, India spanked Maldives 3-0 (25-17 25-20 25-19) to sail into the summit clash.
Later in the day, the Indian women's team thrashed Nepal 3-0 (25-10 25-9 25-15) to set up a title clash against Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka had defeated Maldives 3-0 (25-10 25-18 25-21) in the other women's semifinal.
