The start of the ICC Champions Trophy semifinal match between India and Sri Lanka was delayed due to a wet outfield here today.
Incessant rain left the Sophia Gardens outfield wet, delaying the toss which was scheduled for 9:30 am local time (2:30pm IST).
Umpires have inspected the ground once.
There is no reserve day in the schedule for any of the games in this tournament and if the match is washed out, India will go through to the final as they topped their group.
