Indian parliamentarians to visit Chicago university

A delegation of parliamentarians from India will visit the University of Chicago in the US to explore solutions to India's energy challenges.
The week-long visit is being hosted by the university's India-based Energy Policy Institute and the Climate Parliament. It will start tomorrow and conclude on November 3, a statement from EPIC India said.
The delegation comprising eight lawmakers belonging to different political parties, including the BJP and the Congress party, will interact with researchers, policymakers and opinion leaders in Chicago and Washington, it said.
As part of an MoU, EPIC-India and Climate Parliament have been working towards building the capacity of Indian lawmakers to confront energy and environmental challenges, it added.
