"Anurag Basu is directing the film and I am producing it. It's a children detective film on the lines of 'Indiana Jones' meets 'Tintin'. It is our pet project and I am excited about it. We will start shooting from November," Ranbir said.
The duo gave the industry one of its biggest hits last year in 'Barfi!'.
Ranbir will be playing a detective in the film, which will mark the launch of a production house jointly floated by Ranbir and Basu called Picture Shuru Productions.
"We are still working on the script. I will talk about the casting next time," he quipped.
If the actors team up for this film, it will their third outing together after 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' and 'Raajneeti', both of which were box-office hits.
