The state health Department was closely monitoring the situation to prevent its spread, he said in a statement yesterday.
So far four cases have been confirmed in the state, but no casualty reported.
He also advised the people not to travel to areas from where swine flu was reported and rush to the nearest health centre if symptoms similar to swine flu developed in a person.
"We will give our best to tackle the situation," Longon asserted.
To stay away from H1N1 infection, he said, good hygiene practice is vital at the individual level, cleanliness at the community level and alertness at the state level.
The cause of the outbreak of infection lies in no man's hand but responsibility should be shouldered by the welfare state, he said.
"As a state, we should be able to tackle and contain the outbreak," the minister said.
