Info Commission Nashik bench to hear appeals via video

Functioning of the Nashik bench of Maharashtra State Information Commission will now be conducted through video conferencing facility, State information Commissioner Ravindra Jadhav said.
The Nashik division comprise five districts of Nashik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Ahedmadnagar and Nandurbar.
The official apprised that except Nashik, hearing of second level appeals from the remaining four districts under the Nashik division bench will take place through video conferencing, a move which will save resources and time, Jadhav told reporters.
He said efforts are on to start the facility at the earliest.
Jadhav has taken additional charge of the Nashik bench on October 21 and handles the Pune bench also as an additional charge.

He said the functioning of the Pune division is being being held through video-conferencing.
