Infosys stock settles with marginal gains

Shares of country's second-largest software services major Infosys settled with marginal gains today.

After the end of market hours, the company reported 2.4 per cent growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,690 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018.

On BSE, the stock settled 0.58 per cent up at Rs 1,169. After making a positive opening at Rs 1,174.50, it touched a high of Rs 1,184 and a low of Rs 1,150.20 during the day.

The scrip ended the day on NSE at Rs 1,168, up 0.46 per cent from the previous close. Intraday, it touched a high of Rs 1,185.90 and a low of Rs 1,150.25.

In terms of volume, 2.95 lakh shares of Infosys changed hands on BSE, while 1.06 crore scrips were traded on NSE.

Following an uptick in the counter, the company's market capitalisation rose by Rs 1,493.4 crore to Rs 2,55,322.96 crore.
