Innovation is key in fashion statement: Sharbari Dutta

Celebrated fashion designer Sharbari Dutta, having bought refreshing changes in men's apparel, says films influences a lot in defining style statement of the youth.
Sharbari, one of the judges in the first ever audition to groom young working professionals for a career in modeling, told PTI, "The youth of today is exposed to global fashion sense and influenced by films."
The present day youth try to be trendy, but looking for comfort is equally important. Instead of following and aping, each one should have his own taste, Sharbari said after zeroing on ten contestants from hundreds of wannabe youths at the Fface 2015 shoot for models..
Asking everybody to just be themselves, and not overtly fashion conscious, Sharbari said, "It's all part of good living and great spirit. Just as you need take care of your health, you need to look into fashion and be yourself." Be comfortable in what you wear, Sharbari, who has plans to create a line of sports wear, said adding "Innovation in everything is important."
Kinkini, a reporter from an entertainment news channel and one of those having been picked up, said she wanted to explore her potential since, "I had covered such events from your side previously. We had known about calendar shoots by a liquor major nationally. This is the first such break for girls from Kolkata and Bengal," she said.
Ringo's 'Ek Je Achhe Sahar' actor Sayani Dutta said being from the acting fraternity she could see the world of ramp as a separate but allied form of show business as expressions count in different ways in the two forms of performing art.
The finalists for the shoot for Fame Fashion and Creative Excellence (Fface) conceptual annual calendar, on the lines of a calendar lshoot by a leading corporate, included bankers, dentist, media professionals and students.
