Inquiry ordered into fake certificates for admission

Four persons have allegedly made fake educational certificates to get admission at a government training institution here, prompting the Uttar Pradesh government to order an inquiry.
Sanjiv Kumar, Vinit Rana, Inderpal and Roma Devi had managed to get admissions at the BTC training centre, allegedly on fake educational certificates, Additional District Magistrate R K Shrivastava told reporters today.
The case surfaced a few day ago after one Rajiv Kumar alleged that the four accused who passed out of the training centre in 2008, got the admission based on fake certificates they made that indicated all of them had received education at a college in Bhopal.

The accused later took teaching jobs at different schools based on the training certificates.
An inquiry is being held under the ADM, even as all the accused remain absconding.
While no arrests have been made so far, officers in the education department and staff at the training centre are also being brought under the scrutiny, officials said.
