Prithive Singh, Inspector, Co-operative Society at Dabwali in district Sirsa was caught while allegedly accepting illegal gratification of Rs 18,000 from a person, a spokesman of the Bureau said.
He said Singh allegedly accepted the bribe in return for payment of Dearness Allowance arrears.
A case had been registered against him under Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, in the police station of the Bureau in Hisar.
