IRDAI executive director Maruthi Prasad Tangirala's tenure cut short

The tenure of Maruthi Prasad Tangirala, executive director of insurance regulator IRDAI, has been cut short by the Centre, an official order said today.

Tangirala is a 1990 batch officer of Indian Post and Telecommunication Accounts and Finance Service.

The competent authority has approved the premature repatriation of Tangirala, ED, Insurance and Regulatory Development Authority of India (IRDAI), Hyderabad, on personal grounds, the order issued by the Personnel Ministry said.
