The search operation was conducted at the campuses of the institute, which offers courses in engineering and medical, across the country, including at 27 premises in Rajasthan, an Income Tax official said.
Operations have been seized at the 40 premises.
The raids were conducted at Kota, Jaipur, Udaipur, Sikar, Chandigarh, Ranchi, Pune and other cities.
No seizure has been made so far and the operation was going on.
