IT department raids on three business groups in Raj

Income tax department today launched a search operation on 26 premises of three business groups here, an official said.
After getting information about tax evasion in Rajasthan, IT department raided the premises, an income tax officer said.
The identities of the persons involved and the names of the business houses searched, will be revealed tomorrow when the operation is expected to conclude, he said.
Also, details of seizure, if any, will be available after the searches are over.
Two of the groups deal in jewellery and one is related with share-trading, he added.
