ITBP jawan felicitated for scaling Mt Everest

Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawan Devendra Singh Rawat was felicitated for climbing Mount Everest and skiing thereafter.
Rawat, a resident of Gangol village in Chamoli, had created a record when he and his friend climbed the Everest and then skied in 2012.
The jawan, who has won several national and international skiing competitions representing the ITBP, was yesterday honoured by at his village.
Rawat said that there is no bigger happiness for him than getting recognition from his family.
