Special arrangements were also made for the invitees to offer prayers, which was led by Bukhari.
Invitations were also extended to PDP MPs Muzzafar Hussain baig and Tariq Hamid Qara but they were conspicuous by their absence.
Rubaiya Sayeed, one of the Chief Minister's three daughters who has not been seen much in public after she was kidnapped by militants in 1989 and then subsequently released, was also present.
