The tour was flagged off by Reasi Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Ashwani Kumar Khajuria at the Mini Secretariat Complex in Reasi, officials said.
The students will visit historical and religious places, besides educational institutes in Amritsar, they said.
Khajuria hoped during the tour the students would get an opportunity to broaden their vision by learning about the places, culture and prospects in education and professional studies.
"I will suggest you to learn as much as you can as such an opportunity comes rarely in one's life where you will be provided with all sort of help from the government to know the world beyond you," he said.
