In his message, Vohra expressed hope that the celebration on this auspicious occasion would further strengthen the bonds of amity, harmony and brotherhood and be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
The Muslims observe the holy Shab-i-Meraj every year on the 27th night of the Arabic month of Rajab. On this night, the Prophet Muhammad had embarked on a special journey to meet Allah.
