"Ensure best possible service within given resources keeping in view the unprecedented climatic conditions," Sadhotra asked the officials during a high level meeting held here.
The minister took stock of the constraints in meeting the growing demand of power and called for evolving a mechanism wherein maximum respite is provided to the people.
Stressing the need for reactivating round the clock help-lines in various areas, he asked the departmental heads to "gear up field staff" for taking "immediate cognizance" of the problems faced to the people.
"Tanker service should also be intensified to meet the needs of people on account of drinking water," he said.
