Principal Accountant General Subash Chander Pandey called on Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhavan here and explained him the salient features of the J&K Audit Report for Financial Year 2013-14, a spokesman said.
Pandey also briefed the Governor about the mechanisms which have been put in place for promoting excellence in the J&K public sector through audit and accounting services, speedy settlement of pension cases and other activities, he said.
The Governor discussed with Pandey the need for the highest priority towards maintenance of financial probity and fiscal discipline in government departments and complete transparency in personnel management at all levels, the spokesman added.
