Addressing the 'Surakhsit Bachpan, Surakhsit Bharat' programme organised by the state Assembly and attended by Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi, Das said his government is working with total commitment to fulfil Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream to make India the world leader.
Das recalled how he rescued several child labourers when he was the state labour minister and a bill will be soon introduced in the state Assembly to prevent human trafficking.
Appreciating Satyarthi's work, Das said Madhya Pradesh may be his birth place, but Jharkhand is his work place and called upon everyone to learn from Satyarthi's life struggle.
Stating that Jharkhand has abundance of human resources, mineral resources, forests and land, Das said yet the people are poor in the state.
