The film stars Asher Angel as Billy Batson and Zachary Levi, who plays the titular role.
The film is about Batson, who can transform into an adult superhero by uttering the magic word "Shazam!".
Grazer, 14, will play the role of Freddy, Batson's best friend and the only person who knows the truth about Shazam, reported Variety.
The film will be directed David F Sandberg, and also features Mark Strong and Grace Fulton.
