Jadavpore University student hangs himself

A 22-year-old student of Jadavpore University, who had appeared for his campus interview in the morning, was found hanging in his hostel room today, police said.
Manish Ranjan was found hanging in his hostel room in the second campus of the university in Salt Lake, Bidhannagore police said.
Ranjan, who was a resident of Bokaro, had appeared for his campus interview in the morning and passed the first stage.
His friends who went to call him during the lunch recess found him hanging in his room, they said.
No suicide note was found, police added.
