Observers are being appointed in the joint operation of Jaipur district administration, child empowerment and district child protection units, police commissionerate and NGOs, the spokesperson said.
The observers would prepare a data base after a survey and identify the children who are engaged in begging at public places, including railway stations, bus stops, and traffic signals.
After their identification, the children would be asked to stop begging and would be rehabiliated in child homes under the government plan, he added.
