The 39-year-old actor is all set to return for the next installment of the HBO series amid multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, Entertainment Tonight reported.
Writer of the show, Megan Abbott confirmed Franco's return to the reporters at the Writers Guild Awards ceremony, saying that the actor would "of course" be a part of the gritty drama next season.
The actor has previously denied the allegations against him on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" but said he did not want to shut down the voices of the women in any way.
In the show, which is set in the 1970s, the actor plays the role of twin brothers Vincent and Frankie Martino who become the forefront for the New York mob operating out of Times Square.
