Japanese firm to buy 74% stake in Hyderabad Chemicals

Japanese agrochemicals company Nihon Nohyaku will acquire 74 per cent stake in Hyderabad Chemical Ltd.
The sale is proposed to be completed in the first quarter of 2015 subject to satisfaction of conditions, J Sagar Associates (JSA), who advised the Japanese firm in this deal, said in a statement.
Hyderabad Chemical Ltd is engaged in the business of research, development manufacturing and sale of agrochemical products in technical and formulation forms.
Nihon Nohyaku has presence in Taiwan, Malaysia and partly in USA and through several licensing arrangements in other countries also.
