A man claims he worked with the actor on film 'American Beauty' and asked the star to blow into the container as a gift for his mother, reported the Daily Star.
He added that he and Spacey, 55, had eaten chicken pasta when the jar breathing took place on the set of the hit movie. The man, from Vancouver, Canada, put the item up for sale on website Craigslist.
"She (my mother) was a huge Kevin Spacey fan before she passed away. I think because he resembled her first husband that loved woodwork," the guy wrote on the advertisement.
"This is real, it's his actual breath in there. The jar hasn't been opened since," the man said, adding he feels Spacey likes breathing into jars.
