JDU asks govt to make public names of Indians in Panama Papers

Janata Dal (U) today raised the issue of Panama Papers in the Lok Sabha today with its member Kaushalendra Kumar asking the government to make public the names of Indians mentioned in it as it was a case of "tax evasion".
Kumar also accused the RBI Governor of making "contradictory" comments on the matter, alleging that he had said some of the money had gone there as per RBI rules.
"I want to tell the government that it should take legal action against these people. Their names should be made public. It is not clear so far how much serious the government is," he said in the Zero Hour, drawing support from some opposition members.

Taking a dig at the government, he said it had come to power on the promise of bringing back black money but it had "failed" to do so.

She urged the government to provide her with world-class facilities to help win a medal in the Olympics.
