The 32-year-old singer, who announced her second pregnancy with fiance Eric Johnson on Christmas Day, looks like eight-month-old daughter Maxwell will be welcoming a brother into the family, reported Daily Mail.
"It's Jessica's dream come true, she prayed she was having a boy. She found out this week after a check-up at the doctor, who asked her if she wanted to know the sex of the baby.
"Jessica immediately said yes and when the doctor told her it was a boy she screamed with joy. She was so happy that Maxwell is getting a little brother because that's something she always wanted when she was growing up," a source said.
The 'With You' hitmaker has recently said that she has postponed her wedding plans with Johnson, who she starting dating in May 2010 before they got engaged later that year.
"Apparently it was a part of God's plan for my life ... We've had two different wedding dates, but he keeps knocking me up. We're doing it very backwards," she had said.
