In his obituary message, Speaker Dinesh Oraon said that between the last and the present session, several prominent personalities like Congress' Priya Ranjan Dashmunishi, former minister Bhola Singh, former MPs Gaya Singh and Shyama Singh, film stars Sashi Kapoor and Shakila, Marshal Arjan Singh and classical singer Girija Devi had passed away.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das and other leaders also expressed condolence at the demise of these leaders and noted artists.
After observing a minutes silence, the House was adjourned till tomorrow.
