Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today called on Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi and discussed about the ongoing construction of national highways and other projects in the state, an official release said here.
Gadkari assured Das that construction of bridge over the Ganga in Sahibganj would soon begin and that all formalities have been completed in this connection, the release said.
Construction of Ranchi-Jamshedpur NH-33 road was also reviewed.
Das urged him to construct 1000 km of roads to strengthen in the road network of Jharkhand and Gadkari asked him to provide the detailed project report, the release said.
