Stating that the government also undertook schemes so that people could get employment in Jharkhand itself, Das asked women's self help groups to make a list of those migrating people so that the government could train them and make them self-employable.
The government was keen to set up cottage industries and would make market available for their products.
Calling upon the women SHGs to make aware the people in the villages about leafy vegetables so that the state could become free from malnourishment, Das stressed upon pulse crop along with paddy as pulse could mitigate malnourishment.
The CM was addressing the South Chota Nagpur Division Convention of 'Mukhias', Panchayat Secretariat Assistants and SHG (self-help groups) in Gumla, in which women's SHGs from 31 blocks of five districts were present, the release said.
