Timberlake would be the musical guest on the comedy show on December 21. It is Fallon's second stint as a host on SNL while Timberlake is returning to the show for the fifth time.
Both Fallon and Timberlake have won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for hosting "SNL."
Prior to Fallon's "SNL" return, Paul Rudd and John Goodman will host instalments, reported the Huffington Post
Rudd will host the December 7 episode of the show with musical guest One Direction.
