JK police foils bid to smuggle timber, deodar sleepers seized

Police today foiled a bid to smuggle forest timber and seized 70 deodar sleepers in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
On specific information, police swung into action and raided the house of Roshan Lalin Druni-Dessa in Doda district.
During the search, 70 deodar sleepers were recovered and the accused was arrested, a police officer said.
In this connection, a case has been registered at police station- Dessa and further investigation is going on, he said.
