"The Prime Minister bargained with Omar Abdullah, allowing him (PM) to misuse all the relief money and material for the election campaign and in return the chief minister would be allowed to continue the loot in the state" Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party chief Prof Bhim Singh told reporters here today.
"The visit was part of a secret bargaining deal, the Prime Minister went to motivate chief minister Omar Abdullah regarding holding of assembly elections in the state" he said.
"He met only 50 selected and privileged residents of Srinagar and so called political delegations managed by the Home Ministry" Singh said.
He said that no criteria was adopted while selecting the leaders of the political parties who met the PM in Srinagar.
"The Prime Minister had his exclusive meetings with the Chief Minister as well as the leaders of PDP," Singh said.
An impression was created that Prime Minister has accepted Chief Minister's demand to put in some money in CM's Relief Fund, the JKNPP chief said.
He said that not declaring the recent floods as a National Disaster would amount to "discrimination" with the residents of Jammu region.
"The people of Jammu voted for them (BJP) and Prime Minister has betrayed the people of Jammu," he said.
