A meeting is underway between the Jawaharlal Nehru University administration and the hostel presidents on Thursday to discuss issues related to hostels.
The JNU administration had called the meeting of all hostel presidents at 12.30 pm to discuss matters related to hostel affairs, according to Chintamani Mahapatra, Rector-I of the varsity.
He said a meeting with all deans of schools and chairpersons of special centres had also been scheduled to discuss matters related to holding of end-semester examinations.
Students boycotted exams on the first day on Thursday in protest against the hike in hostel fees.
