Based on the 2006 nonfiction book of the same name, the film will tell the ill-fated story of Doug Kenney, who co-founded the humor magazine-turned-comedy franchise, National Lampoon, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Actor Will Forte is on board to play Kenney, and Domnhall Gleeson is to portray fellow Lampoon cofounder Henry Beard.
David Wain is directing the Netflix project.
