Jharkhand Vikas Morcha today staged a day-long demonstration in five districts protesting against "power crisis" in the state.
The party activists and leaders demonstrated near the office of JSEB General Manager at Giridih, Dhanbad, Dumka, Jamshedpur and Palamau.
Party president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi headed the demonstration at Giridih.
"People of the state are facing acute electricity problem," Marandi told reporters, while demanding Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB) should address the problem on priority basis.
BJP's Hazariabagh unit was demonstrating near the JSEB's district branch from June 2 with its senior leader and former external affairs minister Yashwant Sinha and his supporters still in judicial custody.
