K Hemalatha takes charge as ED of AAI's Western Region

State-run Airports Authority of India today said that K Hemalatha has taken charge as the Executive Director at AAI's Western Region office in Mumbai.
Hemalatha, who is the first woman to head AAI's Western zone, was earlier working as acting Executive Director at its North-Eastern Region in Guwahati, an official release said.
With her expertise in financial and operational areas, Hemalatha was instrumental in implementation of information management system at AAI-run airports across Southern and North-Eastern Regions for accounting of Traffic & Non-traffic Revenue.
She has also earlier worked as General Manager (Finance) at Chennai Airport, Airport Director at Coimbatore Airport, the release said.
