Kabuli gram softens on sluggish demand

Kabuli gram prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today following subdued demand from retailers.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and pegged at last levels.
Traders said easing demand from retailers against tight stocks position, mainly kept pressure on kabuli gram prices.
In the national capital, kabuli gram small variety declined by Rs 100 to Rs 9,600-9,900 per quintal.

Masoor small Rs 4,200-4,500, bold Rs 4,250-4,600, Dal Masoor local Rs 4,700-5,200, best quality Rs 4,800-5,300, Malka local Rs 5,000-5,200, best Rs 5,100-5,300, Moth Rs 3,450-3,850, Arhar Rs 4,200, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 6,100-7,900.
