Kejriwal met Singh at the Delhi Secretariat also praised him for his act.
During the meeting, Singh narrated the whole incident to the Chief Minister in presence of Transport minister Gopal Rai.
"We are proud of you (Rajbir). I wanted to meet you in person. I want to know what help do you need from us?" the Chief Minister told Singh.
According to government, Chief Minister also immediately asked the Health minister to arrange for free treatment of Singh and get the expenses reimbursed whatever he has already incurred for treatment.
"Any help you (Singh) require you can tell us, we will be happy to do whatever possible," Kejriwal told Singh.
The Chief Minister also said the government and the DTC would formulate measures for the welfare of the marshals.
He further instructed the DTC Chairman to look into what other measures could be taken for the welfare of the home guards deployed on the buses.
Rajbir Singh, a marshal in a DTC bus, was attacked with a blade by an unidentified man after he was asked to vacate a seat reserved for women in Malviya Nagar area of South Delhi, when several women passengers were standing.
