Rapper Kanye West is convinced that communicating via emojis is the way of the future.
The 39-year-old music star prefers to use signs and animated icons to express his emotions, and despite making a name for himself through the power of words, he believes they will no longer be used a few years from now, reported Contactmusic.
"I don't think people are going to talk in the future. They're going to communicate through eye contact, body language, emojis, signs. Imagine that. If everyone was forced to learn sign language..."
"It's funny because I've made a living off of words, but words get in the way of what you really want to say," he said, revealing he personally likes to rely on "sign language, eye contact" to get his point across.
"Or thank God for emojis. So often one emoji goes a long way and lets me get on with my whole day.
