Kashmiri Pandit women demand 'anganwadi' in their camps

Accusing the state government of failing to address basic issues for upliftment of the community, ASKPC women wing's president, Veena Gurtoo demanded scholarships for girls going to college.

She said, "The time has arrived when displaced Kashmiri Pandit women should rise for getting their rights."

"The authorities should look into the problems of widows and pension for them should be revised keeping in view the current price rise," she added.
