Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his six ministers today held review meetings with officials of several departments on their preparations on implementing Aam Aadmi Party's 70-point poll agenda.
Sources said officials of power department were pulled up for not planning to devlop transmission network in the city despite the fact that the Centre had allocated sufficient funds in the 2014 general budget.
However, officials said that they got approval in January this year and that's why they were not be able to make action plan to develop tranmission network.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had in July last year allocated Rs 500 crore each for Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana and ultra mega solar power projects besides Rs 200 crore for strengthening Delhi's transmission network, among other programmes.
In the meeting, officials have been directed to prepare action plan to develop transmission network in national capital so that people don't have to face problem.
A senior official said that on the issue of subsidy on power bills, government has asked the power officials to prepare an action plan by next week.
In today's meeting, officials from Revenue Department, Delhi Jal Board and others were also present.
Officials of DJB are believed to have informed the ministers that they have planned to install more than 600 water ATMs across the city.
Sources in the government said that review meetings of different departments will be held tomorrow.
